These hot and delicious, super quick-fix, cinnamon rolls are perfect for those busy mornings.
1 (8 oz) package refrigerated crescent roll dough
1 tablespoon butter or margarine, melted
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
2 teaspoons milk
1. Unroll dough but do not separate; press perforations to seal. Brush with melted butter or margarine.
2. In a small bowl, stir together the sugar and cinnamon until well blended; sprinkle evenly over dough. Roll up dough starting from a long side. Using a sharp knife, cut dough into eight 1-1/2-inch pieces. Place pieces, cut sides up, in a greased 9-inch round baking pan, flattening each piece slightly.
3. Bake at 375 degrees F for 15 to 18 minutes or until golden brown. Cool in pan 5 minutes. Remove rolls to serving plate.
4. In a small bowl, combine powdered sugar, vanilla and milk. Drizzle over warm rolls and serve warm. Makes 8 cinnamon rolls.
