Tender round steak in a rich flavorful sauce served over hot cooked noodles. A marvelous tasting dinner!
2 pounds beef round steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
1 cup chopped onion
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1-1/2 teaspoons paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper
1 (14-1/2 oz) can diced tomatoes, undrained
1 bay leaf
1 cup sour cream
Hot cooked noodles
1. Place round steak and onion in bottom of a 3 quart slow cooker. In a small bowl, combine flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Sprinkle over beef and stir to coat.
2. Add tomatoes; stir to blend. Add bay leaf. Cover and cook on Low for 8 to 10 hours or until meat is tender.
3. Discard bay leaf. Stir in sour cream just before serving; heat through. Serve over hot cooked noodles. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
