Smothered Chicken
Another delicious chicken recipe that’s simple, easy-to-make and incredibly good!
4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
1 medium onion, sliced and separated into rings
1 (10-3/4 oz) can condensed cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1. Arrange chicken in bottom of a 13×9-inch baking dish; top with the onions.
2. In a small bowl, whisk the soup, milk, Worcestershire sauce and thyme; pour over the chicken.
3. Cover with foil; bake at 400 degrees F for 40 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink. Top with the cheddar cheese; let stand 10 minutes before serving. Makes 4 servings.
