I also had a DIL whe died of cancer at age 42. I bet everyone you know has been touched in some way by that terrible disease. My dh only like dark meat. I like both. Your recipe sounds delicious. I just bought some fresh mushrooms that were marked down cause they're a little old. This sounds perfect. I just found a big pack of boneless, skinless chicken thighs, which I have been told is a good alternative to the breasts in dishes like this and much cheaper when you can find them.
