Chocolate Chip Cookies

The cookie lovers in your house are definitely going to enjoy these soft and chewy, triple chocolate chip cookies!

3 cups all-purpose flour
1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
3 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 (12 ounce) package semisweet chocolate chips
1 (11-1/2 ounce) package milk chocolate chips
1 (12 ounce) package white chocolate chips
1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder and salt; set aside. In a separate large bowl, combine the butter, granulated sugar and brown sugar; beat with electric mixer on high speed until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time; stir in the vanilla.

2. Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, beating well after each addition. Fold in all three of the chocolate chips and the walnuts.

3. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls about 2-inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets. Flatten the dough slightly with the back of a fork. Bake for about 15 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes; transfer to wire racks to cool completely. Makes 5 dozen cookies.

Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies DSCN2312Yummy goodness in every bite of these big cookies chock-full of wholesome oats and luscious chocolate chips!

1 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1-1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups old-fashioned oats
1 (12 ounce) package semisweet chocolate chips

1. In a large bowl, cream the butter and both sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.

2. In a small bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt; add to the creamed mixture and mix well. Stir in the oats and chocolate chips.

3. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls 2-inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on wire racks. Makes 4 dozen.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars

2 cups finely crushed creme-filled chocolate sandwich cookies
1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk*
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup chopped walnuts

1. Combine cookie crumbs and melted butter or margarine; press firmly on bottom of a 13×9-inch baking pan.

2. In a medium saucepan, over medium heat, melt 1 cup of the chips with sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract. Pour evenly over prepared crust. Top with remaining 1 cup chips and 1 cup walnuts.

3. Bake at 350 degrees F for 20 minutes or until set. Cool; cut into bars. Store tightly covered at room temperature. Makes 24 to 36 bars.
